WEMBLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL is located in Caneside, Phoenix,KwaZulu Natal. Wembley Primary School was originally known as Phoenix No. 42. The doors of Phoenix No. 42 opened on 2 April 1987. Phase 1 of the building was completed for pupil intake on 9 April 1987. 203 pupils had come from Skyland Primary, 231 from Sunford Primary and six came from Brailsford Primary. The tenth-day enrolment recorded was 474 pupils and this figure was derived from the sum of 244 boys and 230 girls. The first teaching personnel comprised of the Acting Principal, Mr D R Paul, 13 level I educators and 1 JP Head of Department.
