The salon is testament to his years of experience, talent and passion for the industry. But then talent has always been in his fingers he started out at the local salon at the age of 14, working on weekends and school holidays.He completed his apprenticeship with Dave and Johan, and stayed another 10 years with this iconic Johannesburg franchise. During this time, he broadened his horizons and influences by going to London and boosted his qualifications with Toni and Guy of London, another famous international brand. Back in SA, his hard work and talent was rewarded and he was made Creative Artistic Director of Dave and Johan.As such, Rory was responsible for all competitions, promotions and artistic decisions.
