Tony Mason and his daughter Farah Mason had their eyes on a venue in Second Avenue in the trendy Harfield Village for over a year. In April they officially took over the site and completely revamped it to give it a Mason feel. When Farah was a little girl it was always her dream for her and her father to open their own restaurant called Daddy and Me. An opportunity to open a restaurant in the Village arose and Tony and Farah came up with The Avenue as the building has a little plaque with the historical dairy name called Avenue Dairy. The interior of The Avenue has dark wooden furniture accented by rich red walls and decor while pictures of old cars, wheels and hubcaps complete the unique look. The team is a marriage of a carnivore and a herbivore.
