Established in 1993, Hugs & Kisses is a crèche and daycare caring for children from 3 months through to the year in which they turn four, and offers both full day and half day care. Our high care giver to child ratio enables us to maintain a caring, nurturing and stimulating "home from home" environment for children from all cultures and religions.To cater for working parents, we do not close for school holidays during the year, and only close for 3 weeks over the festive season.We are registered with the Gauteng Department of Social Development as well as the Health Department of the Johannesburg Metropolitan Council, and comply in all respects with the applicable Public Health By-laws. The certifications cover all aspects of health and safety, including childcare activities, food preparation, fire protection and a daily refuse removal service for soiled disposable nappies.At least two staff members in each of the four groups at Hugs & Kisses have current first aid certificates, including paediatric CPR.
