Started up by two business partners, with a combined experience of many years in the stainless steel manufacturing industry, Classic Stainless Steel Ltd began production in July 1983.Although the core of the business has been the manufacturing of traditional stainless products, over the intervening years there has been a gradual and subtle shift away from marine industry work to supermarket fitouts, hospital and hospitality projects.Today our plumbing, joinery and building industry clients continue to be the mainstay of our business.June 2010 saw the significant expansion of our manufacturing premises in Kaka St, Otahuhu, to accommodate our team of 21. This development has also provided immediate capacity to house new plant and machinery, resulting in the ability to further streamline the manufacturing process.
