Solar water heating systems are systems that use heat from the sun to warm up cold water. A conservative container or immersion warmer can be used to make the water warm or to boil it when solar energy is unobtainable. Solar water heating systems use equipment like solar panels and collectors, which are custom-made and installed carefully on a roof of the house. This equipment is used for collecting heat from the sun and uses the heat to warm water that is kept in a hot water cylinder.

An immersion heater can be used to speed up the heating process if the water is taking time to reach the desired temperature. There are two common types of solar water heating pieces which are the evacuated tubes and flat plate collectors. These can both be permanently put on roof tiles or assimilated into a roof. The bigger solar panels can also assist in the heating process because the heat provided is at times little and cannot be valuable. Therefore, plumbers and sanitary engineers are responsible for installing a drain back system which drains the heat transfer fluid and heated water especially in solar geysers.

Solar geysers are cost efficient and save electricity, they also use heat from the sun to heat water in the storage tank located in the roof which heats water faster as it is lighter.
