There are many roofing companies in business and unethical ones do exist. Finding the right person to do the job requires thorough research. Before hiring a roofer check to see if they have a license and appropriate permits. Ask the roofing contractor for a list of references for work that he has completed and ask if he has adequate insurance coverage that will protect you and the contractor in case of injuries or damage.
