Reflexologists
Reflexologists are professionals who work mainly on the feet, but can also work on other parts of the body including hands, lower legs and face. Reflexologists work with clients to treat Sports injuries, chronic back pains and sleep disorders.Reflexology is defined as a healing art based on the facts that there are reflexes in the feet with referral areas which correspond to every part of the body. Just by massaging on the reflexes without adding any chemicals or lotion, tension is released improving blood circulation. Although reflexology is not used to diagnose or cure health disorders, it is used to complement other treatments when addressing conditions like asthma and cancer treatments. People with a previous experience in healthcare, massage, beauty therapy and or counselling may have an advantage when applying for reflexology courses.
As a reflexologist one is required to have skills, interests and qualities in certain areas like having the ability to inspire confidence in your clients.
