Physiotherapists

Physiotherapists provide services and work in a wide variety of locations such as as hospital; private clinics; hospices; nursing homes; a patient’s own home; the workplace; sports clubs and gyms. Physiotherapists are the equivalent of a Physical Therapist.

A Physiotherapists member belonging to the SASP is a group of Physiotherapists registered with the South African Society of Physiotherapy and were established in 1974. Another group of Physiotherapists is the Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy Group [OMPTG] -South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP) which was established in 1974.
