Environmental education

Environmental education involves training people on how to take care of the environment around us.  It focuses mostly on environmental conversation. People can be educated on how  important it is to plant trees both in their homes and communities. Trees help prevent soil erosion. They also help us to get good fresh air. At times some of these trees (both the exotic and indigenous trees) can bear fruits which are edible. Environmental education also emphasises the importance of safeguarding both domestic and wild animals. The wild animals in particular are our nations’ pride and they help promote  the tourism sector in the country.

The government departments usually conduct environmental education. They offer a number of training courses. Some of them are short term; they can be three day courses. Others are long term; they can be six months or two years . These courses vary. Some help educate people about fishing regulator rules. Other courses are about wildlife management, bird keeping, gas detection and safari guide to mention a few. They also offer other related courses. They offer landscaping and garden keeping courses. They offer agricultural courses. They even offer consultancy services. They can advise them on how to draft an environmental program. These programs include anti-poaching and tree planting programs to name a few.

These environmental education companies strive to ensure all people value environmental conversation.  They want to ensure that they keep it well so that even the generations that come after can benefit.
