Dancing supplies

Choreography is not the only factor enhancing perfection of the dance moves, dancing supplies also do. Dancing supplies enable the art of dancing to be delivered in an entertaining and professional manner to the audience.

Shoes are designed for a particular dance, for example tap dancers. Their shoes have a metal tap on the heel and toe so as to generate the rhythm by the tapping of their feet on the floor. Also ballet shoes are lightweight so as to enable the dancer to retain maximum flexibility and they have a box within the front part that enables the dancer to stand on their toes and be able to get a balance.

Each type of dance has its own unique attire - belly dancers wear bikinis or tiny tops leaving the navel exposed. They then put on a sarong on top of their panties that swing in accordance with the rhythm making the dance fun to watch.

Dance performances vary as they all tell a different story. Having different costumes for each dance in different material and colours assist in telling the story. For example, Zulu dance requires animal skin for costume material, gum boot dancers wear mine clothing (overalls, gum boots and helmets) because it is a mine dance.

Dance attires are made in different designs so as to enhance the moves of the dancer's body to give an appealing performance to the audience.
