Blackboards

A blackboard is a large smooth writeable black or green board attached to the wall. It is used as a learning unit in schools where the teachers use chalk to write on in it and remove the chalk using a duster. A blackboard is reusable because the person writing on it can erase and re-write on it as often as possible. A white board is similar to a blackboard but it has a material that can be written on using coloured pens or markers also called dry erase markers that are easily removable.

Other kinds of whiteboards are interactive whiteboards that are connected to computers to project the screen onto the board. Interactive whiteboards are commonly used for demonstrations like video presentations and it has been said that interactive white boards enhance participative learning when used in classrooms as compared to blackboards. The screens used in cinemas and movie theatres are similar to the interactive whiteboards except that those in cinemas have a wider projection, and others are silver screens. The cinema screens use digital projection which frequently counts horizontal megapixels as compared to televisions that use video standards.

Digital cinemas are expensive but they are said to be of good quality with clear screens. Digital cinemas are found at movie houses and have been recommended by its manufacturers and distributors for the general public that still prefers high standard televisions.
