Lapel badges

Lapel badges are badges worn on lapels. Available in plenty styles and sizes lapel badges are made as per customer requirements.

Lapel badges are worn on a daily basis by different people to portray their image to the public. These are worn on special occasions, as a form of an award or a way of showing that one belongs to a particular association. Lapel badges may be sewn on lapels or attached using a pin or a magnet. The type of adhesive used on the lapel depends on the customer.

Lapel badges are sometimes solely worn to help identify people in gatherings where there are big crowds. Ushers in churches, conferences and weddings put  badges on their lapels. Wearing a badge on the lapel makes it easy for one to be identified even from a distance. Lapel badges are available with epoxy coatings (transparent like varnish) or without an epoxy coating. Epoxy coated lapel badges are often preferred as they glow and attract attention yet those without a coating look dull.

Cufflinks are  pairs of linked studs used to fasten shirts in place of buttons on the sleeves. These are still the prevailing style of fastening shirts. To wear cufflinks, the shirt has to have French cuffs (sleeve ends longer than the arm to the wrist).

Whatever size or shape one wants for their lapel badge, clothing designers are able to manufacture it. However it is advisable that the badge be of reasonable size so that it fits perfectly on the lapel. To find out more about lapel badges, browse our Yellow Pages listings.
