Victor Tichart completed a Master's degree in vocal accompaniment at the University of Cape Town under the tuition of Neil Solomon. While studying, he was the winner of the Adcock-Ingram Music Competition at UCT and second prize winner of the Johnny Windham Piano Competition. Victor has toured abroad as accompanist, soloist and vocal coach and has recorded four cd's. He has been musical director for various productions including "Cabaret", "Carmen" and "Marry Me a Little".
