Fishermans Warehouse presently situated in 33 Sylvester Ntuli Rd (Brickhill Rd) Durban, had its humble beginnings in the heart of the bustling Indian town. It was established in 1962 under the banner of Fixall Centre and headed by my late father, Ismail Ballim.The business now caters for all facets of fishing viz. rock and surf, harbour, deep sea fishing, estuary, fly fishing, bass, carp, paddle ski and Jet Ski fishing. Stock holding increased tremendously, due to new innovations and technology in fishing. Brand names like Daiwa, Okuma, Shimano, Elbe, Loomis, Penn, KP, Jarvis Walker etc were sold at competitive prices. The key to the success of the business was the stocking of all brands together with cheap prices, service excellence and the shop being open every day of the year .
