The Metropolitan Golf Club is located at Fritz Zonnenberg Road, Mouille Point, Cape Town, Western Cape. One of South Africa's premiere golf courses. We look forward to welcoming you to our clubhouse - where all great friendships begin. The Metropolitan golf course has remained the jewel of central Cape Town since its creation in 1895. Recognized as one of the finest 9-hole courses on the continent, the MET (as it is affectionately known by its members and visitors) was commissioned by the City of Cape Town and rebuilt in 2010 by local Golf Course Architect, Mark Müller. The course belies the 9 hole status. With long and or separate tees, together with 14 world class greens, it plays very much like an 18-hole layout.
