Cottontails is a nursery school in Northcliff that I started from my home in 1982. At the time I was a stay-at-home mom and the nursing sister of our local, Fairlands, clinic asked if I could look after some young children so their moms could work. The nursery school ran successfully for a few years so I decided to approached the head of Childrens Institutions of the Johannesburg Health Department to ask for her advice. My aim was to create the best nursery school in Northcliff by building bigger and better facilities, providing exceptional care and providing pre school education for local children. I decided to call my nursery school, Cottontails.Thirty years on, Cottontails is now a fully-fledged nursery school servicing Northcliff, Fairlands, Randpark, Berario, Blackheath and surrounding areas.
