Podiatrists diagnose and treat ankle and foot disorders, heel pain, foot arch pain, sport and running injuries, Achilles tendon pain, plantar fasciitis, knee and hip pain related to foot alignment, ingrown nails, skin infections and rashes, corns, calluses, cracked heels and plantar warts. Some podiatrists also manufacture in-shoe devices (orthoses / orthotics).Pierre graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 2010.
