SANTA is the South African National Tuberculosis Association with headquarters in Bedfordview, Gauteng as well as branches in each province in the country. The organisation was established in 1947 in an effort to curb the spread and impact of Tuberculosis in South Africa. The organisation is registered as a non-profit organisation that relies on the help of volunteers as well as donations from a variety of organisations for its survival. SANTA offers a variety of services for those suffering from the illness including a well-organised feeding scheme
