Wonderstone Ltd is 100% owned by Assore Ltd and has been mining a uniquely pure Pyrophyllite deposit 300 kilometers west of Johannesburg since 1937. It enjoys a special position in the ceramic field in that the diamond synthesis industry world-wide has utilised the properties of excellent thermal and electrical insulation, thermal shock resistance and high compressive strength in the process of manufacturing synthetic diamonds for over 50 years.The Ceramox business was acquired in 2001 to manufacture a range of high Alumina products to provide customised wear solutions for Chutes, Hoppers, Classifier Cones, Cyclone Separators and Pipe Lines The tiles are manufactured locally at the Wonderstone plant in a variety of standard sizes and engineered shapes that can be installed economically in the shop or in the field.Group Line Projects was acquired in 2012.They trade as a Division of Wonderstone and solve a variety of materials handling.
