IRP Engineering Plastics CC was founded in 1987. We recognised the opportunity and real need for local manufacturing of plastic conveyor components used by the food, beverage and packaging industries, which had been previously sourced from Europe and America.The manufacturing facility has continually developed over the years and now consists of injection moulding with presses ranging from 90 to 350 ton capacities, producing components such as flat top and crate conveyor chain links, sprockets, guide rail systems and more than 2000 conveyor components.The CNC Machining Division dedicated to producing custom made parts required by the industry, nowcomprises, CNC Lathes, Machining Centres, CNC Vacuum Bed Routers complete with 4th axes capabilities, all of which are linked.IRP also supply a range of nylons and is capable of supplying 2000mm X 1000mm sheets up to 100mm thick, and rods and tubes up to 1000mm in diameter in a variety of grades of Polyamide (Nylon) including Molybdenum, Oil and Wax filled grades
