Established in 1978, Poolrite, was founded by Peter Wolpert in Sydneys Western Suburbs. Over the years, Poolrite has successfully introduced many new innovative products, including the PM Super Quiet (SQI) pump (1982), the first salt chlorination systems for Australia and overseas (1986), and the Smart Valve (2000). In 1999, Poolrite was purchased by Australian-owned Palmer Group from GWA and relocated its manufacturing from Sydney to Brisbane several years later (2002).
