Youth DevelopmentSalesian Life Choices, or better known as Life Choices, is a South African based youth development organisation. Even though we are registered as a non-profit organisation, we consider ourselves for profit as we work for human profit. For this reason we do not refer to ourselves as a 'charity' (giving of help to those in need). We believe this approach of "we have and you don't" is a disempowering practice.Life Choices does not promise to be a fast panacea; we ourselves are struggling to find the way. But we deeply believe that the solution for the problems faced by society can be found within human beings.However, this is a process and we acknowledge that it is not an easy one. To work with people (ourselves and others) is challenging and does take time.
