Established in 1999, the Service Station in Melville is now in its 16th year! Ours is a restaurant and food store providing freshly prepared foods along with carefully selected products both local and international. We care about the quality of our food and pay particular attention to how we prepare it. We use hand picked produce from local suppliers including Peter James Smith, The Leopard , Babettes bread, Fama, Faith Rubin and New Harmony Farm. Making our food in house in small , considered batches , we intentionally keep our menu simple and seasonal. Our retail area carries carefully chosen food products and kitchen ware such as: Local and imported cheeses, anti pasta, fair trade coffees, biscuits, homemade icecreams, ready made take home meals, cordials, artisanal sausages and bacon, French glassware, Tala bakeware, Weck storage jars, Laguiole cutlery and table linen, along with many other products to make your dining at home more pleasurable.
