Dr Milton Raff is the medical specialist who is in charge of the Pain Management Clinic in Cape Town, South Africa. He is a specialist anaesthesiologist who has been managing pain for 17 years. Dr Raff is the current President of PAINSA, the South African Chapter of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP). and is a member of the Working Group for Developing Countries of the IASP. He is Editor of the Journal of PAINSA. He is the immediate Past President of the South African Society of Anaesthesiologists and is the Chairperson of the Acute Pain Committee of the World Federation of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA).
