The history of this secondary education facility dates back to 1926, more than 80 years ago when a band of men and women in the Teachers League of South Africa and the Africans Peoples Organisation began a campaign to start a secondary school in Claremont. Today, Livingstone High School and its team of dedicated staff members are committed to providing each and every learner attending their school with quality education to reach their full potential in accordance with their creed and mission statement.
